CASINGS
Two types of casings are offered here.  Choose either the natural or fibrous casings.  Natural casings are used for fresh or cured sausages.  The fibrous casings are used for making sausage that must go through an additional processing such as summer sausage or salami.
 

Shipping prices for orders consisting of only items from this category will be calculated incorrectly. If you place an order for only items in this category you will receive a credit back for most of the freight charges calculated for your order. Sorry for this inconvenience.   Fibrous(Natural) Sausage Casing-Home Pack

For traditional summer sausage and salami.  Ideal for processing small amount of sausage.  Contains 10 pieces of fibrous casings, 20" long which makes approzimatley 30 pounds of sausage.  24 home pack per case

  Mahogany Casings-Plain x 25

These fibous Casings are used to make sausages that must be formed into tube shapes for processing.  They are used for beef stick, salami, summer sausage, bologna and more. The fiber in these casings runs lengthwise which makes them strong so you can stuff them with out breakage.  They smoke just as brown as natural casing.  Synthetic casings need not be refrigerated prior to stuffing.  Simply soak for 20-30 mintues in tap water before use.  Measurments of casing are 2.5" X 20"

  Natural Hog Casings -Knife Cut Hank

Our Natural Hog Casings are top quality, natural color, knife cut, and carefully inspected for quality and uniformity.  Hanks are USDA approved, pre-flused and packed in a brine solution.  Natural casings are sold by the hank or 10 hanks per case.  Each hank will do 95 to 100lbs. of meat.  Store unused casings in refrigerator or freezer. Size 32-35.
